Medical Simulation Corporation (MSC) and Edwards Lifesciences have partnered to provide clinically sound hemodynamic monitoring simulations which incorporate the Laerdal SimMan® 3G LLEAP software with Edwards’ range of hemodynamic monitoring solutions. The Edwards Lifesciences Critical Care Simulation Toolkit includes 19 preprogrammed scenarios developed specifically to challenge critical care staff or students to interpret and prudently act upon hemodynamic data. These simulations increase the confidence of learners interacting with advanced hemodynamic monitors. The toolkit educates learners on the clinical significance of hemodynamic values such as SV, SVV, CO, and SVR.Practitioners have the ability to choose from set scenarios or have the flexibility to improvise by selecting patient type, preferred parameters and monitoring tools.
