Many leading hospitals have recognized the need for more sophisticated education and are beginning to invest in simulation education centers and technology that will increase both effectiveness and efficiency. The SimSuite is the most advanced simulation training system on the market.

There is no reason why the patient should be the primary training material for learning new devices or procedures. Physicians, nurses, and technologists do not have to perform procedures on live patients in order to learn new techniques or technologies. Physicians have said, “The SimSuite Education System truly resembles what happens when I walk into the cath lab.”

Sharpening Your Competitive Edge

The SimSuite courseware ‘reach’ is broad in terms of its utility within an institution. Training modules apply to nursing staff, interventional radiology, vascular surgery, cath lab staff, interventional cardiologists, critical care nurses, and ACLS recertification for operating room and emergency department staff, which is a more efficient, cost-effective alternative to many current training methods.

  • In many cases, SimSuite orientation programs can significantly reduce orientation time.
  • Onsite continuing education and Category 1 CMEs and CEUs. ACLS card delivered upon completion of skills verification.
  • Skills verification, metrics, and credentialing capabilities.

Things to Consider

  • How much time would be saved if a viable team member could be trained in half the time?
  • Savings and efficiencies gained by providing ACLS recertification for your entire staff onsite, at their convenience (compare this cost to the fully burdened cost of traditional approaches).
  • Accelerated availability of new products/technologies that impact patient care.
  • Can effective team training and improved adverse event resolution potentially reduce the amount of product waste?
  • Benefit of onsite CMEs and CEUs. Are there nurse recruiting/retention issues, and are nurses able to attend continuing education programs due to increased workloads?
  • Any concerns with your patients being the primary training material?
  • How can you recruit and retain the best healthcare teams?
  • How can you stay on top of regulatory requirements?

You know that maintaining market leadership and quality initiatives is a daily challenge. You can’t predict what challenges you will have to manage tomorrow, but you can be prepared. Experience the “Reality without Risk®” of a SimSuite Center.

Traditional V MSC SimSuite

Getting Started

Phase I: Needs Analysis

MSC will work with your institution in the planning stages to assess your particular needs on a departmental, institutional, and system-wide level. Based on that assessment, we will make recommendations on how to proceed forward in the formulation of the simulation center that will meet your institution’s strategic objectives.

Phase II: Establishing a SimSuite

MSC’s SimSuite System is more than just a box. MSC will provide a SimSuite System (MSC simulators, including maintenance and associated IT support) with all support workstations and furniture required for the operation. The SimSuite Center will receive periodic hardware and software upgrades as they are made available to customers. The SimSuite Center will also receive all MSC Standard Courseware and a SimSuite Clinical Educator. The SimSuite Educator will staff the SimSuite Center during normal business hours. The Educator will perform all administrative functions required to schedule and deliver training and provide clinical support for participants on the SimSuite System. In addition, the Educator will provide support for program and curriculum development for the SimSuite Center that meet the particular needs of your institution.

Phase III: Expanded Services

Services for other simulation platforms: MSC will work with other simulation manufacturers to facilitate sessions on their equipment. This support will include administrative support for sessions and instruction of employees on the basic operation of the systems. The Educator will work with the proper departments to create courses and curriculum that integrate simulation training into education programs at all levels of the organization.

MSC understands that every client is unique. MSC is committed to customizing its services to meet your institution’s needs and objectives.
